PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an optical film having no flaw by a melt cast film forming method. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the optical film by the melt cast film forming method, a process for cooling and solidifying the film extruded from an extruder on a support is performed under an environment with a relative humidity of 10-50%.
