MIXER CIRCUIT, MODULATOR, AND TRANSMITTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low distortion mixer circuit without inserting an emitter resister which produces voltage drop. SOLUTION: Impedance elements Z1 and Z2 are added to a double balance mixer circuit 1 which is composed of transistors Q1 to Q6 and a resistor R1. The impedance element Z1 is inserted between a common collector of transistors Q1 and Q3 and a common emitter of transistors Q1 and Q2. The impedance element Z2 is inserted between a common collector of transistors Q2 and Q4 and a common emitter of transistors Q3 and Q4. The impedance elements Z1 and Z2 have a function to feed back a part of a high frequency signal (RF signal) to a base band signal (BB signal) after amplification, and works to intentionally break balancing nature of the transistors Q1 to Q4.
