PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record multiplexed stream so as to be able to detect the position of a boundary to be edited at a speed higher than that of the conventional case by, for example, application to a portable recording/reproducing device for recording video and audio data in a random-access recording medium, regarding a device and a method for recording, a recording method program, and a recording medium recording the recording method program.
