PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll compressor capable of preventing compression leak. SOLUTION: A compression unit 38 includes scroll laps erected on a fixed scroll 46 and a movable scroll 40 respectively, a compression chamber 68 formed by each scroll lap and compressing refrigerant sucked from a low-pressure side route of a refrigeration circuit, a delivery hole 74 bored on the fixed scroll and communicating with the compression chamber and communicating with a delivery chamber 72 supplying a high-pressure side route of the refrigeration circuit with high-pressure compressed refrigerant from the compression chamber, and an opening area retention means 80 avoiding superposition of the delivery hole and the scroll lap 44 of the movable scroll when volume of the compression chamber becomes the minimum.
