PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric supercharger capable of greatly reducing electric power loss by electric power supply cable connecting an inverter to the electric supercharger. SOLUTION: This supercharger is provided with a motor rotor 22 fixed on a turbine shaft 21 and rotating together with the turbine shaft, a motor stator 24 surrounding the motor rotor and fixed in a bearing housing 16, the inverter 26 converting direct current electric power to alternating current electric power, and an inverter controller 28 controlling voltage and frequency of alternating current electric power by the inverter. The inverter and the inverter controller are stored in a driver container 29 and is connected to a compressor housing 20 by a heat insulating connecting member 30. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
