PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide frame structure of a trailer on which a large number of cargoes can be loaded by attaining weight reduction under safety standards of a road transport vehicle and the cabinet order on vehicle restriction, and the trailer. SOLUTION: In the frame structure of the trailer, a frame part 2 of the trailer 1 includes a plurality of main frames 10 extending in a longitudinal direction, and a plurality of cross members 11 installed in a direction perpendicular to the respective main frames 10. Each main frame is made of I-section steel having an upper flange 16, a lower flange 17, a web 18 for connecting the upper and lower flanges.
