<p>The device for manufacturing fuel bodies from loose branch- and/or twig material of wood parts, comprises a container (3) for branch and/or twig material, and a pressing device (2) arranged to the container. The container exhibits a supply opening (4). An outlet opening (5) of the container is arranged above an inlet opening of the pressing device, which exhibits a piston-cylinder arrangement. A locking element is coupled, which locks the inlet opening during the pressing movement of the piston. The locking element is provided with a cutting edge.
