A system and a method for observing growth of crops are provided to quickly collect crops growth information from a remote place, minimize time/expense needed for collecting the information, and predict yield according to the crops growth information by capturing the crops with cameras and transmitting captured image data through the web. The cameras(10-30) capture the growth of the crops in day and night. An AWS(Automatic Weather System)(40) measures a wind direction/speed, a sunshine duration/intensity, temperature, humidity, and rainfall of an area including the camera. A data logger(50) stores images captured in the camera, stores weather data received from the AWS, and analyzes the stored crops image. A main server(60) remotely controls an operation of the data logger and the camera, and remotely monitors the crops growth of the specific area and provides crops growth information by storing/displaying the image at the same time if the image analyzed in the data logger is input. A database server(70) periodically stores the data inputted from the main server, data logger, and the AWS. |
