<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device for a winding switch linear motor capable of detecting a phase position relation between a movable device and a stator without a phase position detector, such as a hall device, and detecting an absolute position of the winding switch linear motor movable device without original point driving motion. <P>SOLUTION: In this winding switch linear motor drive device, a controller 1 excites winding 4 from an arbitral one end of the winding switch linear motor and performs electrode detection. When the electrode detection fails, the motion is repeated to excite a part of adjacent winding and perform the electrode detection. The absolute position of the winding switch linear motor movable device 6 is calculated based on the winding excited when the electrode detection is satisfactory and the electrode position detected by the electrode detection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
