<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of work and to prevent the error of component arrangement by an operator by consecutively gathering the components of the same shape and arranging them in a component supply part. <P>SOLUTION: A component array table (such as the order of large to small of a component size) of components to be used is created (block 1), and a boundary between respective component mounting machines is temporarily (initially) set (block 2). For that, the average time for one component mounting machine is calculated (blocks 3-6) and the boundary is set so as to be the closest to the average mounting time (block 7). Then, the balance-up adjustment of the mounting time is performed (blocks 8-10), and an array within the same shape group is optimized lastly (block 11).
