PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal detection machine capable of making a user recognize the degree of deviation of sensitivity when the detection phase is deviated from the optimum condition. SOLUTION: The metal detection machine 10 comprises: the ROM 41a for storing the inspection conditions composed of a plurality of magnetic field frequency conditions, a plurality of transfer conditions, and a plurality of detection phase conditions; the transmission coil 23 for generating the magnetic field of prescribed frequency based on the inspection conditions; the signal creation part 30 for determination for creating signal for determination by detecting a field-variable signal, corresponding to a change in magnetic fields generated by a passage of an inspection object 80 through the magnetic field under a predetermined transfer condition based on the inspection condition, with the prescribed phase based on the inspection condition; and the display device 15 for displaying by making the sensitivity for detecting a metal in the inspection object 80 in the detection phase condition corresponding to at least either of magnetic field frequency condition or the transfer condition.
