PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal device which can be utilized as a general mobile phone to function as a toy for a young child. SOLUTION: The mobile terminal device includes a normal mode for practicing a normal function and a toy mode for practicing a function as a toy. Further, the mobile terminal device is equipped with a storage means for storing a plurality of data (sounds and images) that correspond one-by-one to a plurality of operating means, an output means for outputting the data, and a control means for controlling the practice of the normal function. When the toy mode has been selected, the control means restricts the practice of the normal function done by the operating means, while, when the operating means has been operated, the output means outputs the data corresponding to the operating means.
