PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cartridge for a fuel cell in which a residual amount of fuel can be detected easily and carried out inexpensively, and to provide a fuel cell system provided with this fuel cartridge.

SOLUTION: This is the fuel cartridge for the fuel cell having a cylindrical container for holding the fuel supplied to the fuel cell, and having an electrode to have two cylindrical shapes concentrically arranged in the container.
