PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an inspection pin which can surely perform inspections. SOLUTION: The inspection pin 1 comprises a coil spring 3 interposed between a case body 4 and a probe 2 and a leaf spring member 5 arranged in a case body 4 so that a tip 5b extends toward the side face of the probe 2. The tip 21 of the probe 2 is firmly pressed against a predetermined spot in response to the repulsion of the contracted coil spring 3 by moving the case body 4 to a predetermined position at the tip side of the probe 2 with a tip 21 of the probe 2 of the inspection pin 1 in contact with the predetermined spot. The leaf spring member 5 in contact with a sliding part 24 of the probe 2 is bent opposite to the tip 21 of the probe 2 to allow it to reach a narrow part 23 of the probe 2, thereby allowing the bent leaf spring member 5 to return to its original shape instantaneously. The leaf spring member 5 is thereby allowed to collide with a collision part of the probe 2, pressing the probe 2 toward the tip 21 to allow the tip 21 to be firmly pressed against the predetermined spot instantaneously.
