PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair cleanser giving smooth touch feeling in shampooing and rinsing, and also giving the finished hair both gloss and trimness. SOLUTION: The water-based hair cleanser with silicone oil droplets dispersed therein is provided, wherein the oil droplets essentially comprise (A) 50-98 mass% of polydimethylsiloxane and (B) 2-50 mass% of a copolymer having blocks of amino-modified organopolysiloxane chain and polyoxyalkylene chain.
