PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily and efficiently exchanging a complex ligand, particularly suitably usable for producing artificial oxygen transporter containing protein such as Hb or albumin, through solving problems involved in conventional relevant technology. SOLUTION: The method comprises the following process: A solution containing a carbon monoxide-coordinated complex is infiltrated from the top of a tilted gas-permeable liquid film substrate and made into liquid film. The liquid film is fed and made to flow downward of the tilt angle and then irradiated with visible rays while permeating an oxygen-containing gas through the substrate, and an oxygen-coordinate-bonded complex solution is retrieved from the bottom of the substrate.
