A compact power transmission device reduced in the number of parts and capable of transmitting a rotation input into a rotating shaft to wheels with a large reduction ratio. The rotary shaft (11) is installed coaxially with an inward member (3) formed of a hub wheel (4) and a bearing inner ring (5), and outer gears (16a, 16b) are rotatably installed on the outsides of eccentric parts (14a, 14b) formed on the rotary shaft (11). The outer gears (16a, 16b) are meshed with an internal gear (18) formed in the inner periphery of a casing (1), and the rotary shaft is rotated to revolve the outer gears (16a, 16b) by the engagement thereof one by one with the internal gear (18) and rotate the outer gears (16a, 16b) by an amount of a difference in the number of teeth between an external gear (17) and the internal gear (18) for each rotation of the rotary shaft (11), and its rotating motion is transmitted to the inward member (3) through a torque transmission means (20) to rotate the inward member (3) at a reduced speed. |
