The ski binding (24) incorporates a front holder element (9) holding the front end of the ski boot's sole. A rear holder element (5) holds the front sole or heel of the ski boot. A tensioning device (2,3) is located between the front and rear holder elements. The front holder element is swivel mounted on an axis (8) parallel with the sole's tread surface and across the lengthwise direction of the binding or sole. A switch (11) element in the form of a lever blocks the swivel movement of the front holder element. |
