PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF ULTRATHIN FILM USING CUCURBITURILS

A method for preparing a polymeric ultrathin film through polymerization or copolymerization of cucurbituril derivatives is provided to obtain a polymer ultrathin film useful for an outer wall protective material of a biosubstance or synthetic polymer or a drug carrier. The method for preparing a polymeric ultrathin film comprises the steps of: dissolving a cucurbituril derivative represented by a formula 1 into an organic solvent to produce a cucurbituril solution; and adding a catalyst into the cucurbituril solution and carrying out polymerization to obtain a polymeric ultrathin film containing a polymerizate of the cucurbituril derivative represented by the formula 1. In the formula 1, X is O, S or NH; each of A1 and A2 independently represents OR^1, OR^2, SR^1, SR^2, NHR^1 or NHR^2; each of R^1 and R^2 independently represents a substituted or non-substituted alkenyl of which C1-C20 terminal is an unsaturated bond; and n is an integer of 4-20.
