A polyester flame retardant board and a manufacturing method for the same are provided to prevent toxic gas in a fire by processing the polyester flame retardant board by micro waves and to restrain scattering of the dust generated due to weathering. The polyester flame retardant board manufacturing method comprises the steps of: dipping an inorganic flame retardant in a polyester fiber plate material; uniformly distributing the inorganic flame retardant dipped in the polyester fiber plate material by a press roller; and drying and foaming the polyester fiber plate material uniformly coated with the inorganic flame retardant by micro waves. The micro wave energy is equally applied to the flame retardant board and gradually decreased from the initial period of a drying step to the latter period.
