A method for rendering an image on a 3 dimensional object comprises applying or stretching a sheet of printed vinyl or PVC or paper based media onto the outer or inner surface of the object. Text or images are provided on the sheet. The sheet may be formed from a adhesively backed paper onto which an image is applied and which is subsequently laminated with a polyester based laminate. In an alternate method the image is applied directly onto an object formed by folding, the image being applied either before or after the object is folded into shape. Also disclosed is a method of forming a box or coffin from a cardboard blank wherein projections are fitted into corresponding recesses. |
