PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device to improve sealability and enlarge the usable application range of the sealing device. SOLUTION: This sealing device seals a gap between a housing 2 and a shaft 3, which ate relatively rotatably assembled together concentrically to each other, and comprises a first seal member 5 mounted on the shaft 3 and having a flange part 4 situated on the atmosphere side A, and a second seal member 6 mounted on the housing 2 and having a metallic ring 8 and a seal lip part 10 making slide contact with the first seal member 5. The second member 6 has an abutment part 11 making abutment against the sealing fluid side O of the flange part 4 of the first seal member 5, and the abutment part suppresses deformation to the sealing fluid side O by a reinforcing part 8A arranged at the metallic ring 8 of the second seal member 6. |
