Alternator pulley

The invention relates to an alternator pulley, made up of a pulley (1), a pulley shaft (2) fixed to an alternator shaft, and first and second coupling means located between the pulley (1) and the shaft (2). Contact between these first and second coupling means is carried out by means of conical friction surfaces. The first or second coupling means is threaded on the shaft (2) or the pulley (1) such that when the pulley (1) rotates, driven by a drive belt, the advance of said first or second coupling means towards the second or first coupling means occurs, obtaining that the shaft (2) rotates integrally with the pulley (1). When the pulley (1) rotates at a lower speed than the shaft (2), the first and second coupling means separate, allowing the free rotation of the shaft (2).
