An avatar wireless Internet interface system and method are provided to realize contents in a form of a shop arranged on the street and provide an avatar which can move and enter the shop at a user's request, thereby enabling the user to determine desired contents and select the contents by operating the avatar. An avatar wireless Internet interface system comprises the followings: a mobile terminal(100); a PDSN(Packet Data Servicing Node)(200) which is connected to the mobile terminal(100); and a distance service server(300) which stores the avatar of a user, a distance which the avatar moves, and contents which the user can select, and distance information and avatar information composed of avatars of other users, and contents which can be provided on the street, and is connected to the PDSN(200). The distance service server(300) executes corresponding contents if the avatar makes contact with the contents, which the user can select, when the distance service server(300) moves the avatar according to avatar movement information transmitted from the mobile terminal(100).
