FIELD: marine self-contained bottom seismic stations installed on sea bottom mainly from watercraft. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed seismic station has hermetic body consisting of two hemispheres provided with sealing ring at joint area. Geophysical apparatus located inside housing includes measuring geophone and hydrophone sensors; station is also provided with modules for receiving, recording, conversion and storage of recorded signals and units for conjugation with onboard module at surfacing, satellite and sonar communication channels, orientation unit, synchronization unit, release control unit and power supply unit. Mounted on external surface of body are sonar and satellite antennae, bottom station detection aids at surfacing, rigging and connectors, device for lying on bottom and surfacing of bottom station made in form of ballast anchor. ^ EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of measurements; reduced labor input for manufacture of bottom station. ^ 3 dwg
