FIELD: medicine, diagnostics, gastroenterology, surgery. ^ SUBSTANCE: one should fulfill antroduodenal manometry - for this purpose under US control with a convex sensor of 3.5 MHz one should apply a water-perfusion 8-channel catheter for registering antroduodenal motorics so, that three channels to be located in the stomach, one channel - in area of pylorus-modeling sphincter muscle and four channels - in duodenum. Then one should measure the frequency, the amplitude and duration of contractions in pylorus-modeling sphincter muscle. At frequency of contractions being 2-3/min, amplitude of contractions 90-110 mm mercury column, duration of contractions 3-6 sec it is possible to detect normal functional activity of pylorus-modeling sphincter muscle; at decreased frequency of contractions being below 2/min, amplitude of contractions below 90 mm mercury column, duration of contractions below 3 sec one should diagnose decreased functional activity of pylorus-modeling sphincter muscle. At increased frequency of contractions being above 3/min, amplitude of contractions above 110 mm mercury column, duration of contractions above 6 sec one should diagnose increased functional activity of pylorus-modeling sphincter muscle. ^ EFFECT: higher accuracy of and information value of detection. ^ 3 dwg, 4 ex
