FIELD: pipeline construction. ^ SUBSTANCE: kit comprises inner and outer joining members made of pipes made of a structurized polyethylene. The washers made of polyethylene non-structurized pipes are mounted on the ring end sections of the inner joining member. The inner part of the outer joining member receives the ring spacer made of polyethylene non-structurized pipes. The outer joining member and ring spacer can be split at one or two sites. The outer joining member can be made of two sections of pipes. Subsequent to assembling, the pipes are welded by means of two heating tools at a temperature from 260 to 280°. The joining members and parts of the pipes to be welded are heated up to a high-flexibility condition. In such a case, the ring spacer and washers made of polyethylene non-structurized pipes are in a viscous-fluid state and their melts are mixed and cooperate with joining members and parts of the pipes to be welded. The heating tools are then removed, and the bandage is set on the outer joining member. The bandage allows to stand on the member for a time exceeding that of the heating of the kit of the joining members and pipe sections to be welded. ^ EFFECT: enhanced reliability. ^ 6 cl, 1 dwg, 1 ex |
