摘要 An array substrate for an in-plane switching mode liquid crystal display device include: a substrate; a gate line on the substrate; a common line on the substrate, the common line being parallel to and spaced apart from the gate line; a common electrode on the substrate. The common electrode includes: a plurality of vertical portions perpendicularly extended from the common line; and a horizontal portion combining the plurality of vertical portions. A gate insulating layer is provided on the gate line, the common line and the common electrode. A data line is provided on the gate insulating layer. A thin film transistor is connected to the gate line and the data line, the thin film transistor including an active layer, source and drain electrodes. A pixel electrode is provided on the gate insulating layer. The pixel electrode includes: an extended portion extended from the drain electrode; a plurality of vertical portions perpendicularly extended from the extended portion; and a horizontal portion combining the plurality of vertical portions and overlapping the common line and the gate line.
