The method involves removing a blank of a primary part from a rim (30). The blank has a thickness comprised between 8 and 15 millimeter. The rim is cut in lengthwise and along its circumference for forming segments (42, 42`), and the blank is extracted from the segment (42). The rim has a protrusion (32) at one of its ends for forming a base part of the primary part. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a method of manufacturing a hollow blade for turbo-machine (B) utilization of a cylindrical rim for manufacturing a hollow blade of a turbo-machine (C) utilization of cylindrical shape rolling technique for manufacturing primary parts for hollow blade of a turbo-machine.
