The tap measurement unit for use in a kitchen comprises a housing (2), a ball (4) and a water jet collector (8). It is located on the end of a mixer, firmly fitted in the threads for the jet collector and the fluid which is measured passes through apertures in the hollow, thin-walled ball. The fluid enters through a fissure in the top of the ball and out through one in the bottom of the ball. The ball is divided internally into two halves by a rubber membrane, which fully extended permits one half at a time to fill out the whole ball with fluid. The membrane is located in a rotatable ring, the inclination of which determines which half is filled and which is emptied. The ball before measurement is fixed upwards against a seat (3) in the housing by the rotation of the jet collector. The movement of the flow occurs automatically and is regulated by the effect of water pressure on the rubber membrane.
|
