FIELD: machine engineering, tool making industry, other branches of industry, namely imparting special physical and chemical properties to surface layers of articles. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes lower 1 and upper 2 chambers. In lower chamber ampoule 6 with metallic solution and heating device 4 are arranged. In upper chamber movable rod 14 to which coated articles 15 are secured is arranged. Said chambers are divided by means of movable shields 8 and fluid-tight gate 3. In lateral wall of upper chamber there is hatch 16. Chambers are provided with autonomous evacuation systems and systems for filling them with inert gas. Upper chamber is provided with circulation system 21 for cooling inert gas; said system includes heat exchanger 22 and pump 23. ^ EFFECT: significantly shortened duration of process for applying coatings, reduced labor and power consumption, enhanced quality of coatings, shortened period of the whole manufacturing process due to combination of process for applying coating and heat treatment, possibility for using such apparatus for mass and lot production processes. ^ 1 dwg |
