A scroll compressor is provided to improve oil path structure for minimizing a section, in which oil is mixed with refrigerant, and an oil leakage amount, thereby reducing abrasion of the compressor and improving performance of the compressor. A scroll compressor includes a compression part, and a main frame(240) supporting the compression part. A driving shaft(250) is supported by the main frame at an upper end, and has an oil supply path(252) eccentrically formed inside and an indent part(253) formed on an outer peripheral surface with a predetermined width and a predetermined length. A motor(260) has a rotor(262) fitted on the outer peripheral surface of the driving shaft and a stator(261) fitted on the rotor. An oil cap(310) is secured on the rotor, so that oil flows along the indent part toward a base frame(270) by the oil cap, thereby reducing oil discharge amount, and the oil is separated from refrigerant. Upper and lower balance elements(320,350) are mounted to the driving shaft for stable rotation of the driving shaft.
