A non-slip type of a mat for yoga and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to enable a user to carry conveniently due to a light weight, to prevent a safety accident by slip of the mat, to remove harmfulness by adhesives, and to improve durability by laminating respective layers of the mat by heat adhesion. The non-slip type of a mat for yoga includes: an upper layer(11) made of a fabric woven out of a natural fiber or microfiber; a cushion layer(12) formed by adhering by heat and laminating a foam to a lower part of the upper layer; and a lower layer(13) formed by adhering by heat and laminating a fabric for protection of the cushion layer to a lower part of the cushion layer. The outer surfaces of the upper layer and the lower layer are coated with slip prevention agents.
