The pruning saw has a saw body formed with reduced length and weight, and formed with an easy ergonomic grip for convenient and comfortable handling. An electric motor, which is supplied with power from a rechargeable and independent battery, is connected to the pruning saw by means of a long external feeder. An interchangeable cutting disc, which is driven by the electric motor, is incorporated at the front part of the pruning saw for cutting plant or tree branches into sections.
