A scroll compressor is provided to improve a path structure of oil for cooling a motor, thereby minimizing leakage of the oil and preventing abrasion or overheating of the scroll compressor. A scroll compressor includes a main frame(240) supporting the compression part formed by fixing and orbiting scrolls(220,230). A motor is received in a housing(210) for generating rotation force, and has a rotor(262) coupled outside the driving shaft and a stator(261) inserted by the rotor. A driving shaft(250) rotates as penetrating the center of the motor, and has an upper end supported by the main frame and an oil supply path(252) eccentrically formed inside. An indent part(253) is formed on an outer peripheral surface of the driving shaft with a length longer at least than the rotor, so that oil flowing down from the main frame advances to a portion below the base frame along the indent part by the guide of an oil cap(310). A base frame(270) supports a lower end of the driving shaft.
