The water organic micro-contaminants e.g. ozone-based removal apparatus has an ozonator, an ozone gas liquefier with a reactor ozone concentration monitoring sensor, and a valved active carbon container. The powdered carbon increases the high-toxicity contaminants removal rate. A peristalic pump passes water through the reactor of column design and a separator recovers all the carbon administered.
