An alloy for dental casting which has excellent corrosion resistance and biological stability, good bio-compatibility and superior mechanical and dynamical properties in the oral cavity by containing nickel, chromium and molybdenum as principal components even without containing beryllium is provided. An alloy for dental casting comprises 20 to 23 wt.% of Cr, 7 wt.% of Mo, 2 to 4 wt.% of Si, 1 to 3 wt.% of Al, 1 to 4 wt.% of Nb, 0.08 wt.% or less of La-rich rare metal, and the balance of Ni and other elements. A composition for the other elements except Ni is any one of a first alloy group comprising 20Cr7Mo3Si1.5Al, 20Cr7Mo3Si1.5Al1Nb and 20Cr7Mo3Si1.5Al2Nb, and a second alloy group comprising the alloys of the first alloy group to which 0.05 wt.% of the La-rich rare metal is additionally added. |
