<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with a special bundling tool by using a protective cap of a connector plug also as a bundling means in an optical fiber cable. <P>SOLUTION: A bundling band 40 is successively provided in a manner as if the band is pulled out from a ring-shaped cable inserting part 28, with a locking hole 41 formed in this bundling band 40. Then, on the other side of the cable inserting part 28, a locking disc 42 is successively provided through a fine wire-shaped part 43, and also a protective cap 25 is attached to the tip end of a connecting part 27 that extends sideways from the cable inserting part 28. When the protective cap is to be used as a protective cap, the optical fiber cable 15 is inserted into the cable inserting part 28 so as to be protected with the protective cap 25 attached to the tip end of a connector plug 16. When the optical fiber cables 15 are to be bundled, the bundled optical fiber cables 15 are tied up with the bundling band 40, with the locking disc 42 inserted into the locking hole 41 to fix and hold the optical fiber cables 15 in a bundled state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
