EVALUATION METHOD AND EVALUATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate accurately the degree of sufferings. SOLUTION: This evaluation method of a deformation quantity at a suffering time of a structure having a frame and an armoring material installed on the frame is executed as follows: (A) the first relation showing the relation between the deformation quantity of the frame and the rigidity of a deformed frame in the state where the armoring material is not installed is determined; (B) the second relation showing the relation between the deformation quantity of the frame and the rigidity of the armoring material installed on the frame in the state where the armoring material is installed is determined; (C) the third relation showing the relation between a vibration characteristic of the structure and the deformation quantity is calculated based on the first relation and the second relation; (D) the vibration characteristic of the structure is measured after the sufferings; (E) and the deformation quantity at the suffering time of the structure is evaluated based on the measured vibration characteristic of the structure and the third relation.
