PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an eaves plate from dropping by forming a structure which prevents the eaves plate from slipping off from a holding frame between a base end of the eaves plate and the holding frame of holding the base end. SOLUTION: The eaves 1 comprises the holding frame 3 attached to an external wall surface of a building and the eaves plate 2 with its proximity held in the holding frame 3. The holding frame 3 has a pair of upper and lower protruded walls 34, 35 with a length corresponding to a width of the eaves plate 2, and a holding groove 31 with an opened front surface into which the proximity of the eaves plate 2 is inserted is formed between the pair of the upper and lower protruded walls 34, 35. A protruded part 24 which protrudes from a plate surface is formed on at least one of an upper surface and a lower surface at the proximity of the eaves plate 2, and a retaining part which protrudes toward a plate surface of the eaves plate 2 is formed between a position of the protruded part 24 of the eaves plate 2 and a grooved opening 31a of the holding groove 31 on at least one of the upper and lower protruded walls 34, 35 of the holding frame 3.
