PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woody resin composition free from scorching and an odor of a filled cellulosic fine powder, without fouling a mold tool, and with an adequate woody feeling (an appearance quality such as touch, gloss and color), and to provide a method for manufacturing the composition easily and inexpensively. SOLUTION: This woody resin composition comprises a styrene polymer (A) and an olefin polymer (B) in a ratio of (A)/(B)=70/30 to 10/90 (a weight ratio), wherein when the total of (A) and (B) is 100 pts.wt., the composition contains 10-160 pts.wt. of the cellulosic fine powder (C) and 1-10 pts.wt. of a styrene thermoplastic elastomer (D).
