RUBBER COMPOSITION AND CONVEYOR BELT USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rubber composition that has improved heat resistance and crack resistance while controlling damage of roll processability and molding adhesion. SOLUTION: The rubber composition comprises a polymer component composed of≥90 wt.% of an ethylene-propylene copolymer rubber,≥6 parts wt. of a mercaptobenzimidazole-based antioxidant and≥0.5 part wt. of stearic acid based on 100 parts wt. of the ethylene-propylene copolymer rubber and is crosslinked with an organic peroxide-based crosslinking agent and an ethylene glycol dimethacrylate-based cocrosslinking agent.
