PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an NBR composition giving its vulcanized product excellent in abrasion resistance and effectively usable even when used in sliding parts as a sealing material. SOLUTION: The NBR composition as a rubber layer is obtained by incorporating 100 pts.wt. of a nitrile rubber with 3-100 pts.wt. of white carbon and 60-200 pts.wt. of aluminum oxide 0.1-10μm in average particle size. The vulcanized product obtained from this composition exhibits mechanical strength (a physical property in a normal state), etc., comparable to the case with compounding a nitrile rubber with carbon black, being improved in abrasion resistance without substantially impairing such physical properties, and presenting such excellent effects as to effectively reduce rubber cracks after deteriorated due to heat or the like and debonding attributable to the decline in adhesion to adhesive, each seen when incorporated with carbon black alone.
