PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet with a detackified adhesive, saving resources, greatly reducing production cost and having excellent quality and printing suitability and to provide the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet with the detackified adhesive. SOLUTION: The method for production is carried out as follows. A pressure-sensitive adhesive is applied to the inner surface of a surface substrate and the inner surface of the surface substrate is then laminated onto the surface of a release agent of release paper in a process of running the long release paper having a detackified adhesive part formed on the surface of the release agent together with the long surface substrate. Otherwise, the pressure-sensitive adhesive is applied to the surface of the release agent of the release paper and the surface of the release agent is subsequently laminated onto the inner surface of the surface substrate.
