PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrial vehicle capable of automatically cutting a string wound or about to be wound around an axle side. SOLUTION: In wheel devices 10, 50 on a vehicle body 2 side, hub parts 13, 55 and the axles 25, 51 are relatively rotatably provided and rotary string cutting means 35, 70 interlocked with rotation of the wheel are provided between free end parts of the hub parts 13, 55 and the axles 25, 51. When advancing traveling or retreating traveling is performed, the string transferred to the axle side along an outer peripheral surface side of the hub part after taken up by the wheel, that is, the string transferred to the axle side, wound or about to be wound around it can be automatically cut by the string cutting means and the cut string can be dropped off in a flick-out manner. Winding of the string or the like on the axle can be prevented and rotation of the wheel can be always smoothly performed.
