METHOD FOR FORMING PRECISE SATURATED POLYESTER COATING FILM ON METAL SURFACE AND SYSTEM FOR PERFORMING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel method in which a layer with no pin hole is formed on a thin iron plate of several mm or less applied with galvanization without damaging a galvanization layer and a coating film of saturated polyester having a close adhesion to the galvanization layer is applied onto it and to further provide a technology in which a decoration plate-like element is added to a metal plate and an appropriate pattern is applied to a covering layer of saturated polyester applied onto the metal surface. SOLUTION: The method for covering the metal surface with saturated polyester comprises a step for heating the metal plate to a melting point or higher of the used saturated polyester; a step for coating the surface of the metal plate with saturated polyester; and a step for press-fitting/scanning a roller on the metal surface under the softening state of the coated saturated polyester. A steel material applied with galvanization is preferably used for the metal plate, saturated polyester having a melting point of 260°C or lower is used for the saturated polyester and a roller in which the surface of the material provided with elasticity is covered with Teflon (R) is further used for the roller.
