The invention relates to a mobile charger (1) for charging at least one first battery from at least one second battery (3) which is an auxiliary battery and is provided with greater capacity than the first battery, thus allowing said first battery to be charged several times. Preferably, the second battery is a rechargeable lithium polymer battery while particularly button cells, especially nickel metal hydride button cells, are used as first batteries. The inventive charger is suitable foremost for charging batteries for hearing aids and preferably has the size of a check card.
