An electric footwear drier contains at least one dielectric body, in which an electric heating element as a steel plate is arranged, and an electric cord with a fork plate. Directly on the surface of the steel plate a dielectric layer and resistive current-conducting one of a thick-film paste, which is coated evenly by a method of thick-film technology on the surface of the steel plate, are made.
