DRIVING SHAFT WITH DRIVING JOINT FOR USE IN AUTOMOBILE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a driving joint to transmit comparatively high torque based on its mechanical characteristics and to positively break the driving joint in the case of nonpermissibly high torque, but in this case, to absorb the nonpermissibly high torque by the driving joint to hold a joint inner member and a joint outer member without separation.

SOLUTION: The joint outer member 12 is formed to break as a target breaking part of a driving shaft when exceeding a torque threshold value specified beforehand.
