<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic lens excellent in durability, shock resistance and abrasion resistance and a method for producing the plastic lens, with respect to a plastic lens having, on a plastic lens substrate, a primer layer, a hard coat layer and an organic anitreflection layer comprising an organic thin film in order from the surface of the plastic lens substrate. <P>SOLUTION: A primer layer is formed on a plastic lens substrate, a hard coat layer is formed on the primer layer with a coating composition containing metal oxide fine particles, an organosilicon compound represented by the formula: R<SP>1</SP>SiX<SP>1</SP><SB>3</SB>and a compound having a biphenyl sulfide structure, and an organic antireflection layer having a refractive index lower than that of the hard coat layer by ≥0.10 is formed on the hard coat layer with a coating composition containing at least an organosilicon compound represented by the formula: R<SP>2</SP><SB>n</SB>R<SP>3</SP><SB>m</SB>SiX<SP>2</SP><SB>4-n-m</SB>and silica-based fine particles having an average particle diameter of 1-150 nm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
